We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home care for clients requiring assistance with day to day living. Our ideal candidate is comfortable around senior adults, as well as those with dementia or physical disabilities, and has the ability and desire to work on a one-to-one basis with clients. The right candidate will be compassionate and dedicated to the needs of others. The ideal person has a background in caregiving and appreciates the need for privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mobility, hygiene and grooming, tasks of daily living, dressing, transfers, and ambulation.
• Assist with personal care and tasks as directed by the nurse.
• Assist in providing ongoing care to residents.
• The duties of the position may include but are not limited to the following activities: assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting; preparing snacks and meals; transporting residents; escorting residents to activities; helping with language interpretation; maintaining resident charts; dispensing medications accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Home care: 2 years (Required)
