Job description

Unique position. Serve as right hand (along with his current assistant and office manager who is continuing to work in this capacity) for a surgeon and single father to 4 minor children and office manager for his medical practice. We have had someone in this position for about a year and a half who is staying on board, so you would be working closely with them as well.

Duties would include anything from cleaning, handy work, assisting with elderly grandfather, casting patients and removing sutures, surgery scheduling, running books (Quickbooks) of business, finances, childcare, tutoring (grades 8-12), and many different personal assistant tasks.

Handyman skills preferred.

The candidate is not expected to have experience in all these tasks but must have a proven track record of thriving in work and/or education.

Work is primarily out of employer's home and occasionally out of the office. Hours will be approximately 20-30 hours a week, but could increase.

College education (Bachelors degree) is much preferred. Lived in Sacramento Valley area for at least 10 years preferred. Good typing skills and good with math and numbers much preferred. A cover letter is appreciated as well.

MUST live within 15 minutes of intersection of Watt Avenue and Highway 50. We are looking for someone who can make at least a five year commitment to this position. Health insurance provided after a couple months.

A live-in position could also be offered over the summer!

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
