Job description

The Physical Therapy Assistant treats patients who are experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assist in patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients’ capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods. Inpatient rehabilitation experience desired.

Qualifications:

· Current state licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red
Cross

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Phoenix, AZ 85006: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Preferred)
