Position Summary: Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine MD / DO

Leading primary care practice is searching for a Primary Care, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician near The Villages, Florida. Out-patient only. Work M-F. Full-time. No weekends or call! $250k - $325k+! Plus offering a Sign-On bonus! Candidate will provide care to patients 18 years and older. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to build long-term patient relationships in a busy but low stress environment! This office prides itself as offering a great work environment! Physician will provide a full range of primary care procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine MD / DO

• Recommend services for patients utilizing care alternatives available within the community and nationally.
• Provide high-quality cost-effective medical care.
• Work in conjunction with the medical directors, quality improvement, utilization management, and risk management.
• Coordinate and cooperate as part of the patient care team with the center administration, peers, clinical and non-clinical staff
• Maintain appropriate patient records & satisfaction standards.

Education & Experience: Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine MD / DO

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
• Current valid state physician MD / DO medical license
• Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify required
• Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress)
• 1+ year MD / DO experience a must!
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
