Eagle Telemedicine designs, manages and operates telemedicine programs for acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals and long-term acute care hospitals. Eagle provides specialized care to underserved communities, manages physician coverage gaps, eliminates unnecessary transfers and reduces costs. Multiple specialties include Hospitalist Medicine, Stroke and Acute Neurology, Psychiatry, Critical Care, Cardiology, Infectious Disease and a range of other specialties.

We are a forward thinking, technologically advanced healthcare company looking for an experienced Physician Recruiter to join our team of professionals. The following list outlines responsibilities and requirements of this important role in our organization:

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a plentiful candidate pipeline through strategic sourcing, including networking, job boards, professional organizations, medical schools, and social media outlets.

• Interview and screen candidates according to Eagle Telemedicine procedures.

• Present candidates to physician leadership teams for clinical review.

• Schedule interviews with Eagle’s Physician Leadership

• Develop, utilize and manage applicant tracking system

• Track and report metrics related to physician recruiting.

• Conduct candidate reference checks.

• Develop processes to complete contracting and introduce new physicians to Eagle Telemedicine and the Eagle physician team.

• Manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects with strict attention to detail.

• Track physician progress through the Eagle recruiting and credentialing process. Monitor and report physician retention metrics.

• Develop and implement handoff procedures from recruitment to other Eagle departments.

• Maintain positive candidate relationships

• Willingness to work as a team with other physician recruiters, sharing candidates as needed, along with strategies and new processes.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years working in a physician recruiting role.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated record of year over year physician placement success.

• Outstanding initiative and problem-solving skills with a desire to develop smart solutions.

• Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence.

• Experience coordinating physician availability with hospital needs.

• Strong computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Software looked upon favorably.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent physician recruiting experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time working on the computer and phone.

• Hybrid work setting

• Occasional travel may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
