Pleater, Machine Operator

Our Ogden facility has Immediate job openings in our Production Department!!
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm (occasional overtime on Fridays)
Pay Rate: $16.00 an hour/ willing to train
Responsibilities –

• Pleat laminated media for the production lines
• Reads production schedule to determine the size of laminated media to use
• Inspects laminated media for quality before loading it to the machine
• Sets up pleat machine to number of pleats needed for the size filter being run
• As media comes through the pleat machine, cut proper size determined by marker
• Inspect pleated media for any defects and discard if it does not meet specifications
• Call maintenance when service on machine is required

Qualifications-

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to learn how to operate the pleater machine.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and daily production schedules.
• Must have basic math skills and be able to use tape measure
• Must be able to solve practical problems and understand written or verbal instructions
• Standing, stopping, bending, and walking for a full 10-hour shift
• Lifting up to 30 pounds is required
