Job description

The holder of the position is responsible for ensuring that the received production orders for products are carried out correctly with regard to quantity and quality.

Responsible for following food safety, quality, government regulations, and SQF Guidelines and reporting deviations to key authorized personnel.

Individual tasks

• Execution of the operations according to Preparation premixes document
• Weighing of the raw materials according to the ERP system – respectively the Premix-site.
• Labeling of the premix-bags according to instructions.
• Controlling the preparation of the premixes according to instructions
• Scanning the raw-materials using the barcode-scanner according to the instructions. Doing so means confirming the booking, related to each specific released production order.
• Inspection of the screen ( sieve) of the premix-side after every big-bag replacement and documentation on the Inspection screen ( sieve)
• Checking the permanent magnet and screen after each premix-filling-cycle.
• Raw-material removal for the preparation of the premixes from the raw-material-depot
• Changing the raw-materials according to recipe-changeovers in accordance with instructions. Overview allergens in completed products.
• Observing the sequences of the numeration of each batch when using the raw-materials.
• Weighing the raw-materials according to the needs of mit's (= m_ajor industrial t_rials).
• Cleaning of the blender, the piping of the big-bag-station and the filling-station after each allergen-changing
• Notification of sources of danger in the baking are and observance of instructions from the Occupational Safety and Health management system
• Correct separation of waste according to Waste Control
• Observance of hygiene, HACCP, allergy, glass and blade management.
• Responsible to plan and conduct daily work assigned in the Pre-Mix area for efficiency, cleaning, and provide cooperation with co-workers as needed. Observance of Safety Guidelines, Hygiene Guidelines, Internal Work Rules and Emergency and Evacuation Plan for Swedesboro Plant for employees in the Pre-Mix area

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs., stand for up to 8 hours, see color, walk, bend and stretch

Ability to read English and have basic math skills
