At Norhart we build and manage awesome apartments, to fullfill that purpose we need a fantastic team. As a Precast Manager, you will lead our efforts to find the very best people. The Precast Manager will be responsible for building a precast /concrete division from the ground up. This team will be responsible for Precast Erection and administrative activities. As a manager, you will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the concrete crew.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team
  • Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
  • Create and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines
  • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards
  • Direct activities concerned with production
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
  • Ensure all job reports, and documents are submitted correctly and on time

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Precast Erection (or equivalent)
  • 2 years of experience leading people
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and proven leadership skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Must have a good understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in brick siding
  • Experience in post-tension concrete floors
  • Experience in pouring gypcrete

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
