About the Opportunity

We have been retained to find a Primary Care Physician for an established three clinic provider in Sarasota Florida that delivers primary care services exclusively to its wonderful senior community through low or no additional patient-cost Medicare Advantage plans. Their care model combines a personalized approach to preventative healthcare that improves qualify of life and is based on the foundation that affordable care should be highly accessible and delivered with uncompromising quality, compassion and care.

The three clinics are located in Sarasota County (Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, North Port), along the beautiful coastline of Florida with close access to Tampa, St. Petersburg, busy city life, beach serenity and beautiful nature all in one place.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide a full scope of primary care services to ensure each patient receives the care they need (no rounding required). Key responsibilities include:

• Examine diagnose and treat patients for acute and chronic conditions or concerns, injuries, infections, and illnesses

• Counsel and educate patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns

• Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans

• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures

• Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provide advice on follow up

• Coordinate care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services

• Complete documentation and paperwork in a timely manner and maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice

• Supervise Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners as needed

• Attend occasional events to meet potential clients

About You

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician, ideally with:

• Focused experience in internal medicine, family medicine or geriatric care

• 5 years of experience caring for Medicare Advantage patients

• Active Florida license

• Interest in taking on responsibilities of a Medical Director within 1-2 years

• Willingness to hold office hours at 1-2 locations within Sarasota County
