Nursing CE Central is a nursing educational company who is currently expanding into the South America market and seeking to offer Medical Interpretation Classes to our Nurses. We are seeking an English tutor to provide personalized English classes to current and/or prospective staff and create asynchronous Spanish medical interpreter courses to English-speaking nurses.

You will have two main job duties. 1.)You will be working directly, one-on-one with staff for approximately six months each, or until acceptable fluency is reached. 2.) You will plan and create, in conjunction with NCC leadership, an asynchronous Spanish and medical interpreter course for nurses.

Applicant may also work directly with nurses to provide Spanish courses.

Experience/Education:

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a language degree in your non-native language.
• Experience in healthcare and/or medical interpreter certification necessary.
• Must have experience in language instruction

Responsibilities: (On the job training provided.)

• Work directly with key employees and/or prospective employees to create an English learning plan, discuss said plan with client and revise as needed, measure results, and implement plan.
• Normal days will involve 5 hours of one-on-one in person (Downtown Cincinnati) English instruction and 3 hours of program planning or virtual instruction to nurses.
• Plan and create nursing language program designed to take nurses from uni-lingual to bi-lingual certified medical interpreters.

Hours:

Working hours will generally be M-F 9:00-630 EST

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
