POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is part of the Sales Excellence organization and woks on cross-functional development and improvement of business and sales processes; all in support of sales enablement and sales operations at SICK. The incumbent embraces SICK’s global philosophy by supporting a broader team in the coordination to manage or launch global or local programs, processes, or tools, the development of supporting content, and the execution and tracking of process utilization. The incumbent collaborates with various other local and global departments in the coordination and support of processes and projects to develop efficiency and effectiveness surrounding business and sales processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Champions the Sales Excellence vision via supporting the strategy to increase competency and utilization of business and sales processes.
  • Supports assigned sales processes, tools, or programs to include launch planning, development, and improvement activities.
  • Act as a contact person for support for the assigned business and sales processes within SICK USA
  • Supports subject matter experts in coordinating process roll outs, localization or improvement projects.
  • Supports continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration to streamline and develop business and sales processes and tools while aiding in the alignment of requirements of other functions that interact with the processes.
  • In certain circumstances may create operational guides, training content, or presentations on assigned projects or sales processes.
  • Provides input to skills curriculum for new employees related to business and sales process competencies during employee on-boarding.
  • Collects, analyzes, and presents data to provide insight, focus areas, and aid in strategic thinking and decision making.
  • In certain circumstances delivers / facilitates training to employees in coordination with the Training Program Office.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • Four-year degree or experience with either an academic or experiential orientation toward industrial engineering, business administration or similar qualification.
  • One to three years of experience in working with teams managing internal projects, programs or process improvements
  • Able to demonstrate experience supporting the development or implementation of a process
  • Demonstrated skill in problem solving
Other Qualifications
  • Digital mindset and ability to work across organizational borders.
  • Basic understanding of factory, logistics, and process automation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to manage consistently to a common plan, providing project management in the implementation of sales processes.
  • Occasional travel
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Ability to work in a general office environment
