Position Summary
Entry level role that is working in a plant/factory. Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, utilizing documented work processes.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
- Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
- Contributes to division results and performance
- Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
- Operate equipment specific to area such as:
CARBON:
Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant
REGEN:
Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles
Position Requirements
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Must complete site specific safety training
- Ability to communicate clearly to team members
- Be able to follow and read instructions
- Have basic math skills
Site specific requirements:
CARBON: Be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training
Preferred:
- Some manufacturing/plant experience
- Forklift driving
- Knowledge of computers
