SUMMARY:

The Processing Associate aka Trimmer is primarily responsible for hand trimming (perpetual trim) cannabis in preparation for sale. In addition, the Processing Associate aka Trimmer is expected to assist in harvesting and pre-packaging and perform other duties in cure and farming as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing job duties
• Maintain and follow the company’s cultivation facility policies and procedures
• Uphold quality of the finished product while trimming flower
• Work in a timely manner and strive to increase department productivity
• Assist in pre-pack department
• Assist with general cultivation facility maintenance
• All other job duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Training

• Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Total Management Inc.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements
• Previous marijuana industry/trimming experience is a must
• Familiar with industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, cooperative nature, and self-motivated

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a cultivation facility with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions. May require use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed
• Must be able to individually lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Must be able to conduct repetitive arm and hand motion
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to acquire MED Support badge prior to beginning employment

Compensation:

$20.00 - $20.50 per hour
