Overview and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Processing and Servicing Specialist to join our growing Lending & Servicing Department at our Call Center in Charlotte, NC! This position will be in office, Monday - Friday, 8-5/9-6 schedule with a starting hourly rate of $15.50-$16.50 DOE, overtime compensation, plus an opportunity to earn a monthly bonus!

The
Processing and Servicing Specialists play an integral role in maintaining and updating the operational functions for our Lending and Servicing team. You will support the lending process by obtaining and verifying income/employment and other demographic information, routine customer account maintenance and coordinating the overall loan fulfillment process for new and current customers through our online and branch network. This position will provide quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and deliver timely responses. Our team members must work well in a team setting and have an aptitude for problem solving, consulting, multitasking and show value in the service we provide our customers! Job responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide central processing of all documents required for loan processing.
- Obtain and review all documentation for accuracy, compliance, etc. in accordance with company policy.
- Update information in the system of record as well as keep up to date and accurate communication logs ensuring a smooth process for the customer.
- Communicating with our customers over the phone in the tracking and monitoring of the loan application process.
- Develop professional relationships with our Branch network
- Align with all policies, procedures and relevant federal/state laws and regulations including Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protections Act, Privacy Act and Federal Information Security Management Act.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and work environment at all times
- Adherence to all applicable regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Financial services industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized with effective time management skills
- Customer service oriented
- Must meet our acceptable standards for credit history, criminal background history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
