Produce Manager Responsibilities & Duties - MUST HAVE 3 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Applicant must be Customer service focused.
• Experienced in department P&L results.
• Experienced in inventory control to maintain proper stock in order to achieve consistent inventory levels and prevent out of stock or over-stock conditions.
• Experienced in ordering, receiving, displaying regular and seasonal products.
• Experienced at managing departmental shrink control
• Experienced at training and development of FT/PT produce team with product knowledge, product rotation, pricing, and company policies.
• Experienced with procurement and expenses within assigned budget limits.
• Collaborate with GM to develop pricing plans and marketing plans
• Create marketing events and other promotional activities to maximize sales and profits
• Verify correct pricing from vendors and assure all invoices and bills are processed in order to assure accurate timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, and any transfers that are made daily between departments
• Secure a work environment that is clean and safe.
• Assure a complete sales floor product inspection at start of shift to remove any outdated or spoiled product from the floor.
• Assure customer satisfaction by resolving customer concerns and problems in timely manner
• Work with GM on hiring, evaluating and overall supervision of department personnel
