Title: Production Management Assistant
Department: Production Department
Reports To: Associate Production Manager

Employment Status: Part-Time; Non-exempt
The Production Management Assistant will pursue the Department’s main mission: To provide a safe and professional performance environment to all members of the MSM community, including students, faculty, staff, and patrons, while supporting the goals of the School and maintaining and preserving the physical integrity of the performance venues.
Domains:
- Assist the Director of Production and the Associate Director of Production with the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintain the Production Staff and Crew Schedule.
- Process payroll for Production Department workers.
- Purchase supplies, equipment, and schedule service calls for the department and production venues; collaborate with colleagues for specific needs, researching best value, maintaining the database for account tracking, processing payments and check requests, and reconciling department credit cards and petty cash drawer.
- Generate and distribute event reports for events in minor halls.
- Create and maintain the resource tracking of all department resources across production venues based on the needs of rehearsals and events.
- Participate in committees and meetings as requested; attend concerts and school events as required.
Job Details:
- Part-time Production Management Assistant work-hours are based on department requirements and are scheduled as needed. The work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and daytime hours.
- The work schedule is expected to average approximately 25 hours per week (with an opportunity for more hours if or as the schedule demands).
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years technical theater experience, 1+ year of adminstrative assistant experience; management experience preferred.
- Professional demeanor, superior communication skills, comfort in high-pressure situations, adaptable, solution-oriented, and skilled in collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Airtable; knowledge of EMS Software and Vectorworks CAD Software preferred.
- Must be certified as a NYC Fire Guard, CPR, and First Aid; training available for the suitable candidate.
