Kaneka Aerospace offers specialty high performance composite materials for the aerospace industry. Our prepregs, adhesives, resin, and tooling materials provide distinguishing properties that enable our customers to achieve value beyond lightweight and strength.

We are currently recruiting for a production operator. This position is responsible for following Manufacturing Instructions to produce quality products in a safe and efficient manner, escorting outside contract personnel in the plant, and keeping the Production Supervisor informed of deviations from normal process parameters.

• Follow company Safety Policies, keeping personal safety and the safety of fellow employees foremost in all activities.
• Perform loading and unloading of raw materials and products in such a way that the safety of plant personnel and the environment is ensured.
• Accomplish daily production goals, daily orders, and monitor the process operations to ensure environmental compliance.

• Complete process log sheets, check sheets, and other paperwork in a timely matter.

• Inspect equipment and report malfunctions that require repairs to the Production Supervisor.
• Make suggestions for improvement of existing operating procedures and review procedures when assigned.
• Responsible for housekeeping to ensure that the plant is maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
• Packaging of Final Product in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Proper and orderly storage of Final Product in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attention to detail is key*
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Some Knowledge of rotating equipment (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
