For our site located in Swedesboro, NJ, we are looking for a Production Supervisor for our third shift.
Production Supervisor
- Coordinate the production of multiple gluten-free products within the company guidelines and objectives
- Supervise and train labor force for optimum performance
- Develop detailed knowledge of operating production equipment and processes
- Supervision of workforce to include directing workflow, scheduling, evaluating and disciplining production & packaging employees
- Ensure safety procedures and processes occur in plant
- Supervise the execution of pre-production activities such as equipment set-up, raw material prep and in process quality testing
- Supervise the execution of production, packaging and warehouse processes and procedures in accordance with the Production Schedule
- Ensure production documentation is accurate and complete
- Participate in continuous training of labor force
- Develop detailed understanding of product formulas, baking and packaging operations
- Organize and analyze data collected during production
- Ensure GMP & HACCP and SQF plan is adhered to
- Assist Plant/Production Manager in developing budgets and related requirements for the facility
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing facility
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisor role
- Strong written and oral communications
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Products preferred
- Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to bend/twist as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
