Production Supervisor – $60,000 – $70,000

A local Utah County company is searching for a Production Supervisor who will have core responsibilities in leading a team and managing production goals. The Production Supervisor role is a vital role within the company, working directly with team members to collectively create a safe work environment and foster a culture of empowerment. Our Production Supervisor will work independently, taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, and acting as an internal resource on production demands, delivery logistics, quality goals, and employee training.

Production Supervisor job highlights:

• Allows the ability to develop and implement strategies to reach company objectives.
• Attend Company Safety training and all other required training
• Forklift Certified (within 12 months of being hired)

What we look for in Production Supervisors:

• Lean manufacturing work experience
• Expertise building and supervising high power/high voltage machinery.
• Manufacturing knowledge of high voltage machines.
• Willingness to gain industry training and skills
• Extrusion industry experience (Example: Manufacturing)
• Leadership skills to foster a growing team
• 5 years of Management experience
• 5 years of experience working in a Production Facility
• Basic Math & Geometry knowledge
• Knowledge of basic conversions
• Understanding of units of measurements
• Basic electrical and mechanical assembly knowledge
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Competency in reading and using SolidWorks
• Formal education in electronics, electrical, and/or mechanical (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
• Time management and resource planning
• 2-year degree in a related field
• Experience with building industrial-size equipment
• Knowledge and understanding of high-voltage electricity
• Lean and Six Sigma Training preferred
