JOB SUMMARY FOR PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST:

  • Service Asset and Configuration Management NA Support Analyst responds to user requests and incident tickets requiring application level intervention.
  • The resource will support the current tool suite and is needed in preparation for application upgrades and addition of new functionality to these tools.
  • Second level support for the service asset and configuration management tools works directly with first level support and end users to resolve trouble tickets in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST:

  • Manage team ticket queue and resolve in timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation.
  • Troubleshoot minor and major system problems in a timely manner and escalate to L3 support when necessary.
  • Provide global, 24x7 operations support to Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Applications.
  • Meet service level agreement (SLA) commitments.
  • Help the users in solving data issues.
  • Perform system administration tasks.
  • User administration.
  • Performing operational tasks (e.g. run and monitor discovery jobs, generate weekly, monthly application scorecards, etc.).
  • Assisting on Production Support activities for HP UCMDB, HP Asset Manager, HP Service Manager such as assisting with incident and problem resolution, adding new users.
  • Issue advisories for any outages/incidents which affect the user community.
  • Monitor application and database servers.
  • Collect and provide reporting applications health and usage metrics.
  • Work with system/database administrators and development team to resolve issues.
