Gold Bond Building Products, LLC has an immediate opening for an hourly Production Technician at our Mount Holly, NC location.
Multiple Positions Available on 2nd and 3rd Shift!
Your mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic & positive attitude will drive your success as you become our newest Production technician!
Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
· Know and comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures
· Identify and communicate safety hazards and quality deficiencies to management
· Perform production line equipment operation, troubleshooting and adjustments
· Perform production equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety
· Communicate repair functions and needs with shift supervisor and maintenance department
· Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
· Routine quality control tests performed
· Enter qc data into quality software system
· Perform production line changeover and set-ups of packaging line machinery
· Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
· Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
· Safety oriented individual
· Preferably mechanically inclined
· Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction
· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management
· Strong organizational & prioritization skills
· Problem solving and decision-making abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.26 per hour
