PTI Plastic and Rubber Gasket Inc operate a manufacturing plant in Rockledge and we are now recruiting skilled production operators.

The operator's main role is to program and use equipment to convert different materials to create seals and gaskets.

The operator is partially in charge of the quality control of the product, in order to meet the specifications and requests of our clients.

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Knowledge of how to use measuring devices such as a tape measure, slide rule, veneers, micrometers, etc. would be a plus.
• Must be able to perform basic math and should be comfortable working in metric measurement and converting to inches.
• Must be able to follow work instruction
• Excellent attendance record.
• Must be a self-starter and work independently as well as in teams.
• Must be responsible, respectful of others and willing to take ownership in the work.
• Must be creative in ensuring a safe yet productive work environment while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Must have basic computer knowledge to enter data into the IT system.
• The candidate has to be able to lift charges up to 50lbs
• Please not that working in production is a physical job.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.45 per hour
