Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, located in Chicago, IL has full-time entry-level Production Worker positions available. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have manufacturing/light industrial experience and basic mechanical aptitude such as carpentry, general construction, farm equipment, automotive mechanics or any other type of mechanical or electrical skills. There will be opportunities for growth and ability to move up into production positions!

Production Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
• Material handling
• Operation of mobile equipment
• Operation of production equipment
• Working with hand and/or power equipment in a manufacturing setting

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 1+ years industrial experience strongly preferred
• Proven mechanical & mathematical aptitude
• Uncompromising commitment to safety
• Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic are required for these positions
• Ability to work shift work
• Solid work history, references required
• Minimum of High School diploma/GED required
• Successful completion of a post-offer hair follicle drug test, physical and background check
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
