: Production Worker

Shift:
2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm)
Pay:
$20.00
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Review the batch tickets – Read, understand and follow
- Gather and weigh ingredients (Scale operation)
- Combine ingredients in a designated sequence
- Provide samples to the Quality Control lab
- Pack the product into designated containers and label containers
- Clean equipment and plant and dispose the waste
- Operate a sit down/standup forklift
- Responsible for stock rotation and minimizing partial containers
- Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment
- Train other employees
- Responsible for ingredient traceability
- Use SAP inventory look-u
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times and maintain a clean work area
- Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities
- Participate on plant teams
- Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions
- ISO - Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties and stays updated on all applicable procedures
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Capable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs. and standing for long periods of time
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm)
- Some weekends (overtime) required if hired
