Work Description:
The Customer is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to serve as a Part-Time Program Planner. As a critical member of the front office team, the program planner will be responsible for a wide range of duties to include but not be limited to external and internal events or engagements. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Reviewing incoming requests, flagging important tasks for action and informing executives of highly sensitive requests. This is a high tempo/high volume environment
- Tracking and monitoring on-going external and internal engagements/events and initiatives
- Developing and maintaining a records management system for the organization of the external and internal events and engagements
- Preparing high level meeting summaries, highlighting actions items, due dates and other key leadership feedback for external and internal events and engagements
- Researching and preparing background information and/or talking points for events to include information on other meeting attendees, potential issues and situational awareness
- Complete prep-work and holistic logistics for all events, including but not limited to travel, clearance submissions, venue, etc.
- Summarizing correspondence, highlighting key issues and topics and providing follow-up to ensure appropriate timely action is taken
- Managing and updating the emails, or other tracking mechanisms, updating postings, announcements and documentations
- Coordinate with other offices to review materials for release by following standard operating procedures and policies
- Occasional local travel
Minimum Qualification(s):
- Demonstrated experience with C-suite level or Executive support
- Excellent judgement, strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to prepare executive level correspondence
- Outstanding organization and planning skills with the ability to synthesize large quantities of disparate information
- Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to keep complex organizations or initiatives on schedule to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills which can be applied to processes with a "can-do" attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Ability to work as a member of the team
- Strong ability to be a self-starter; complete tasks with little to no oversight
- Active TC/SCI w/ Poly
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7; 3 years related experience preferred.
