SPARC, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Program Specialist who will join their creative and supportive team for a transitional program call Link-Up for developmentally disabled young adults in White Plains, NY. The Program Specialist, under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator will be responsible for hands on direct supports, training, and guidance to program participants. Other responsibilities include develop, and implement program plans; coordinate and schedule daily activities; ensure safety and quality assurance; identify strengths, skills and interests of participants; assist with gaining independence and support with attaining their dreams and goals, attend Life Plan review meetings; complete required documentation in accordance with agency standards.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a subject related to social services, education , developmental disabilities or recreational therapy and a minimum of 1 year experience working with young adults with disabilities in inclusive and self-contained settings. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
