Milestone Project Services is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team.

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Mandeville, LA

Work Environment: Office

Physical Demands: Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional (offshore) site visits required

Responsibilities:

  • Primary interface with Client and Contractor.
  • Responsible for verification that fabrication controls are being applied during construction:
    • Approve initial distribution of Issued for Construction (IFC) documents and drawings to the Contractor and to resource personnel.
    • Authorize distributing revised (IFC) documents and drawings to the Contractor and to resource personnel.
    • Authorize maintenance of a log to establish current revision status of plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Directs staff to verify that special process controls are being applied during construction:
    • Special processes such as welding, heat treating, cleaning, NDT, etc. must be monitored, and controlled during the construction activities.
    • All welders and welding procedures used during construction must be certified.
    • NDT personnel and NDT procedures must be properly certified. Only an ANST Level II or Level III NDT technician shall interpret API 1104 welds.
    • Records of special process activities shall be maintained at the construction site.
  • Directs staff to verify that inspections, testing, and evaluations controls are being applied during construction:
    • Staff will perform inspections to maintain independence from the Contractor performing the work.
    • Inspectors will (1) receive Contractor s test schedule, test procedures, material/work/systems to be tested, (2) review test results, and (3) document Nonconformances.
  • Directs staff to verify that handling, storage, and shipping controls are being applied during construction.
  • Possesses an awareness of project schedule and budget.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of construction mgmt. (turn around) experience
  • 10+ years project planning, scheduling, budget experience
  • 10+ years offshore E&I and Structure experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate
  • Attention to detail
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

  • BS in Construction Mgmt.
  • Personnel mgmt. experience
