Role: Project Manager

Location: Hebron, KY 41048

Duration: 12 Months

Reason for Request:
Project Leader to support Sales & Distribution Projects (US only)

Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
1. Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting for multiple projects across the US.

2. Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, safety, and current open issues.

3. Monitor contractor performance as to cost and schedule performance tracking.

4. Development of detailed user criteria documentation for the facility project activities.
5. Development of scope of work for the procurement of AE and construction type services.

6. Manage Project Engineers to review Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination with customers
7. Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries.
8. Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals.
9. Attend job site meetings with contractors and consultants to monitor progress on activities.

10. Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values.

11. Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders.

12. Oversee the contractor’s Quality Control program and ensure Quality Control procedures adhere to the plans.

Required Qualifications:
1. Need someone with bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Mgmt any other would not work

2. Construction and/or engineering firm project management experience
3. Construction project management experience +3 years working on multiple projects simultaneously

4. Experience with individual project sizes of $1M or greater construction type projects.

5. Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management
6. Experience managing team of project engineers, construction coordinators, and safety personnel.
7. Experience working in construction of light industrial facilities or manufacturing facilities

(e.g. HVAC replacements, sidewalks, asphalt paving, dock equipment)
8. Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).

Additional Desired Qualifications:
1. Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
2. General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements
3. Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Visio, PlanGrid

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
