Somers based Property Management Company seeking a Property Manager to maintain a portfolio of approximately 450 condominiums.
This candidate should possess skills in residential property management, as well as construction, administrative and financial knowledge.
Experience with and knowledge of Home Owner Associations, Condominiums, and basic maintenance functions is a must.
Job Description:
- Act as liaison between homeowners and Board members
- Maintain property by addressing homeowner concerns, scheduling vendors, and enforcing the rules of the community
- Oversee on-site staff
- Negotiate agreements with selected vendors
- Intelligently speak with vendors/contractors on capital improvement projects
- Coordinate project schedules and communicate timelines with the Board, and community
- Help create and oversee annual budget
- Attend monthly evening Board meetings
- Prepare reports/spreadsheets by collecting, analyzing and summarizing collected data
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.
Qualifications:
- Condominium and HOA experience is a must!
- General Construction knowledge a must
- Excel in follow up and customer service skills
- Prepare reports monthly and annually
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Ability to perform in a demanding environment
- Excel in the ability to build strong, trustworthy relationships
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of Property Management software
- Strong supervisory skills
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Dependability, both on the applicant as well as transportation; close proximity is essential.
- Experience in the field is necessary (minimum of three years’ experience in Property Management).
