SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Punch Technician / Groundskeeper is responsible for general maintenance repairs in the property. Specific duties include general maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, grounds and appliance repairs. Will also assist with the make ready process and service requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:
- Complete the make ready process by preparing vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a “punch” list of maintenance work needs, obtaining needed supplies and inspecting completed work.
- Assist in other types of maintenance as needed.
- Provide service to residents in a prompt and professional manner.
- Complete service requests in a timely manner.
- Complete preventive maintenance checklist.
- Perform on-call duty for emergencies or when assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Educational degree not required.
- At least one year of experience in a maintenance position within multi-family housing or related position.
PAY RATE: $20-$22 hourly
