Located at Pier 17, s23NYC is a dedicated team of marketers, designers, makers, and engineers focused on reimagining how Nike’s most dedicated fans unlock, discover, and think about their kicks. With a passion for sneakers and an emphasis on rewarding the community that loves them, s23NYC builds, designs and deploys innovative, interactive, and slightly mischievous features for the Nike SNKRS app (iOS and Android).

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are in search of a Junior QA Engineer to join the Nike Digital Innovation team, working primarily in the SNKRS ecosystem, serving the highly-engaged community globally with demanding engineering constraints. We need a collaborative Lead QA Engineer to play an integral role in delivering highly-polished, innovative new features to the SNKRS app.

• Developing and executing test plans for new and existing features, troubleshooting and verifying fixes for production support issues, and documenting defects with clear and concise reproduction information
• Contributing ideas for new features and identifying areas for improvement proactively
• Collaborating with development, design, program, and product team members at Nike to design, develop, and deploy innovative mobile and web applications, and as well as reliable services

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience, education, and training
• Experience testing native mobile applications for iOS and android
• Experience testing websites and API/Backend services
• Desire to become the content expert for every feature, self-motived and confident working independently
• Working in an agile environment
• 2+ years software testing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Jira, Charles Proxy

Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate.
