OIN OUR TEAM as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).
This position is specifically for our group home in Madison Ohio.
JOB SUMMARY: Develops and implements individualized service plans and programs which meet the needs of individuals with Developmental Disabilities and help them to live the fullest life possible. The QIDP is responsible for the overall program coordination within each home assigned. Will develop and implement Individual Plans (IP’s) that promote self-determination, development and independence of those we serve. Ensures all systems and practices are followed routinely which meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies. Assists staff in performing all responsibilities related to the individual’s program services plan. QIDP is jointly responsible with the Residential Supervisor to ensure effective management of the group home.
This position is also response for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local rules and New Avenues to Independence, Inc. policies and procedures. Responsible to promptly report to supervisor any circumstances that negatively affect the health, safety, or well-being of residents, staff, the agency or its equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S./B.A. in Psychology, education, special education, or related field, required.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Medicaid/Licensure rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and other related computer programs.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form; basic math and money handling skills.
- Active, valid driver's license with no more than 4points on driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
