Primary Responsibilities:

Administer the Release Management Process;

Implement release management process in accordance with release management policy for planning and executing the deployment of new and updated software and applications.

Serve as the release manager to:

• Receive a notice of upcoming release from Development Teams.
• Schedule deployment activities with Application Operations Team f
• Ensure readiness for the release prior to deployment
• Accurate documentation attached, pre-requisite tasks completed and all necessary approvals attached.
• Continuously update release tickets to ensure process transparency.

Deploy completed application code in accordance with the deployment plan.

Verify application deployments, including web application deployments, database scripts and

objects, and distributed systems. In case of significant defects or deviations from the deployment plan, execute rollback mechanisms to ensure application is available during core production hours to the end users.

Provide technical assistance to developers to troubleshoot/ remediate defects discovered in CIE

environment.

Conduct weekly release meetings to discuss upcoming release schedule and coordinate release and deployment activities with the development teams and project managers.

Configuration and Asset Management;

• Identify, version, and store all configuration items, including but not limited to software, scripts, and configuration baselines, in the existing Configuration Repository, in a centralized repository.
• Maintain accurate system inventory, software library, system architecture diagrams, data dictionaries and synchronizing environments to mirror production.

End User Support;

The Quality Assurance Analyst will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for users of portfolio of applications, coordinate with the application development teams, and external vendors to obtain Tier 3 support for incidents and problems;

• Access Management
• End User Training
• Service Desk Reporting

Requirements

• Adhere to all applicable IT practices, policies and procedures while performing all system and database administration tasks.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar area. Demonstrated equivalent experience of four years will be a satisfactory substitute for a degree.
• It is preferred that the candidate have one or more AWS certifications.
