Job description
Summit Schaumburg, IL has a current open position for 2nd shift Quality Assurance Assistant. The Quality Assurance Assistant is responsible for quality data maintenance, charting, and documentation control. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to read and understand documents.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of three years' experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Required Skills:
Responsibilities:
- Maintains data for defects, yields, and customer returns.
- Produces weekly and monthly charts for departments.
- Maintains the documentation control system.
- Maintains the company’s Quality Intranet.
- Team member on periodic purging of Material Review Cage for data collection and process evaluation.
- Responsible for auditing.
- Administers corrective action request.
- Monitors and publishes reports and graphical data to insure factory is performing within its capability range.
- Informs Management and Supervision immediately of trends or deviations
- Perform other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Control current documentation and planned changes to all Quality Work Instructions for each department
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years experience in the printed circuit board industry.
- Ability to use Windows based software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
- Ability to use charting and statistical capabilities of programs.
