The MVP Consulting Group is looking to expand the team. As an Associate Consultant, you’ll apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership skills from day one. You'll begin as a generalist and be placed in the thick of the action, as you work side by side with our Senior Consultants.

Company Profile: The MVP Consulting Group is a Los Angeles-based healthcare consulting firm that specializes in: licensing/accreditation obtainment and regular compliance; and healthcare staffing. Our clients consist of Hospitals, Healthcare Systems, Ambulatory Clinics, Non-Profit Organizations, Government Organizations, and Mental Healthcare Facilities.

Job Profile: The Associate Consultant will work on a team, owning a distinct aspect of the project. Furthermore, the Associate Consultant will be responsible for ensuring deliverables (quality improvement plans/dashboards; training and other resources) are provided to the client in a timely fashion.

**This role may require some travel to our client organizations' sites (statewide). All travel and lodging will be covered/reimbursed by the company.**

Illustrative Task:

  • Conduct both formal and informal reviews of client provider(s) to identify deficiencies and/or areas of non-compliance, and to verify corrective action is taken
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable statutes, licensure and accreditation requirments
  • Provide technical assistance to client provider staff by organizing training sessions, meetings, and conferences
  • Develop quality improvement measures for client organizations
  • Educate and training client personnel on various aspect of process/quality improvement
  • Interpret and analyze technical jargon from above mentioned regulatory bodies and provide client organizations with ongoing support.
  • Collect, monitor, summarize and analyzing programmatic goals, outcomes and achievements
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to conduct program evaluations and assisting with the development of data collection instruments
  • Produce performance reports for program departments
  • Support staff in interpreting and using analysis for program improvement

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, AND EDUCATION

  • No Licensure Requirement.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Psychology/Social Services, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Public Health)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Specific experience in SUD programs is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance and program development in social services
  • Experience reviewing and monitoring local, state and federally funded contracts and grants
  • Previous experience writing policies and procedures for the above regulatory bodies either as a consultant or as a full-time employee of a company.
  • Ability to provide examples of self-authored work and references.
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently when needed.
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Understanding of adults, older adults, and transitional age youth living with SUDs
  • Understanding of program components for target population based on laws, rules, and regulations for treatment providers of SUDs
  • Understanding and application of the regulatory requirements of California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 9, Division 4, Chapter 3 and quality management principles
  • Conducting contract monitoring and implementing compliant practices and procedures within a public sector setting

Compensation and Benefits

$50.00-$75.00/HR DOE
