Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will develop the documentation and execute training in business and technical procedures by integrating AS9100, Nadcap AC7118 requirements, Applied Composites’ Internal Quality Management System (QMS), and business systems resulting in fully capable personnel efficiently executing their role.

Job Accountabilities:
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance to AS9100 and Nadcap AC7118.
- Manage AS9100 and Nadcap AC7118 compliance audits to established QMS.
- Research, recommend and implement strategic quality assurance practices that align with company vision and direction.
- Develop and Manage training standards in line with OSHA, DOT, EPA requirements
- Lead training in individual and group settings for both on-boarding and existing employees
- Manage all SOP’s, WI’s and Business Processes.
- Work with department managers to ensure compliance to SOP’s, WI’s and Business Processes
- Ensure employees are trained to perform tasks within their assigned roles and verify competency.
- Safety program leader including but not limited to OSHA compliance.
- Treats all information and data within the organization and scope of the position and maintains confidentiality and security at all times.
- Cooperates fully in all risk management activities and investigations.
- Reports promptly any suspected or potential violations to laws, regulations, procedures, policies and practices, and cooperates in related investigation.
- Conducts all transactions in compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards and practices.
- Is knowledgeable of, observes and complies with Codes of Safe Practice, safety policies and emergency procedures.

Job Specifications:
Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or appropriate certifications may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.
Experience: Requires four (4) years related experience in aviation manufacturing, or maintenance, occupational safety, and/or adult education.
Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of the materials and processes used in aerospace composites manufacturing or aircraft maintenance industry environments.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with online technologies. Ability to use MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to read, understand, and write technical documents; and to translate the technical information into appropriate training materials.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to adjust techniques to meet the needs of various learning styles.
- Knowledge and understanding of AS9100, Nadcap AC7118, and internal auditing
