Title: Quality Documentation Technician
Reports to: Quality Director

Position Summary
The Quality Documentation technician will manage and organize quality production documents for the Boston Whaler boats. Timely release current quality production documentation aligned with production schedules. Improve and maintain QC2 inspection and defects records for current and new boat models.
Position Responsibilities
- Setup PIN and Image maps on QC2 for defects recording
- Collaborate with Quality Supervisor and engineers to improve inspection processes
- Provide training for QC employees on the QC2 system
- Develop, review and revise QMS documents/procedures as related to evolving business practices.
- Track quality documentation data, or release, by aligning product orders to production schedules
- Review and verify data to ensure the documentation complies with regulations and internal quality control practices
- Collect, file, and maintain boat construction records
- Comply with all privacy and security regulations
- Perform various administrative tasks throughout the day
Experience
- At least one year in an administrative role
- Database software administration experience preferred
- Experience in boat manufacturing is desirable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail ensuring records and data systems stay current and accurate
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Formal training in Quality Assurance is beneficial
