Autoport Limited is seeking hardworking individuals to join Railcar Prep Crew!

At Autoport, our Prep Crews safely prepare railcars for loading and unloading of new vehicles. Prep workers are dynamic individuals who work diligently as a team to maintain production standards without compromising their quality of work. We are looking for dedicated full-time employees who are comfortable working in an outdoor environment year-round. Located in Dearborn, MI, you will enjoy working alongside passionate individuals in a motivating work environment.

Hourly rate: $22.96

Our Prep team has one of the most physically demanding jobs within the facility, they are the first to prepare each railcar for the loading and unloading vehicles. This diverse team works together to productively meet deadlines and solve problems, while safely performing their job duties. This role will require the ability to climb up and down railcar ladders, open and close railcar doors, place and remove chocks that secure vehicles for shipment, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift. This is an entry-level position, but there is no need to stop there. Within Autoport there is ample opportunity for growth, with tenured employees of 10 years plus.

Qualifications and requirements

· Must maintain a valid driver’s license

· Punctual and reliable

· Must be able to perform physical labor

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Team player
