What You Will Be Doing
Assist in managing scheduling of inbound shipments, provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage daily activities for receiving inbound shipments, scheduling, record keeping, reporting, tracking
Communicate effectively with internal employees, carriers and clients
Follow a process to organize and prioritize overall workload
Become subject matter expert in receiving and inventory control with our WMS (3PL Central)
Ensure required information is documented, forms completed when goods are received
Comply with established safety policies and procedures; promote and maintain safety awareness, identify and resolve potential safety issues
Follow established inventory processes and inventory management best practices
Coordinate with Quality, ensure all inbound shipments comply with Food Safety & GMP standards
Assist Inventory Control Supervisor to establish and promote quality process improvements

What's In It for You
HS Diploma or equivalent required
1+ years in warehouse environment or logistics role (Inventory Control experience preferred)
1+ years material handling experience (stand on forklift/reach truck) preferred
Understanding of warehouse processes and their connection to a WMS
Familiarity with computers (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
Proven track record of creating and implementing process improvements
Detail-oriented with a critical focus on warehouse organization
Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, stand up to 10 hours in one shift
Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance
1+ years in warehouse environment or logistics role (Inventory Control experience preferred)
