Job description
- Oversee, develop and grow all aspects of Zeeland Recreation fitness programs.
- Set vision and manage current and future fitness programming, memberships and partnerships.
- Set vision for and manage current and future fitness equipment and fitness props in our cardio/weight room + fitness studio.
- Hire and manage all fitness instructors and personal trainers.
- Plan and schedule all fitness programs (ex: fitness classes, personal training, fitness challenges, fitness events, etc.).
- Create and manage all fitness class calendars.
- Manage and evaluate the fitness secretary.
- Manage current corporate partnerships + create more partnerships with local businesses/entities.
- Develop and oversee our fitness-related customer service policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with our front desk team (policies, equipment issues, etc.).
- Manage the fitness budget (payroll, equipment, supplies, etc.)
- Bachelors/Associates degree in a fitness-related field (preferred).
- Experience overseeing, developing, leading and growing fitness related programs (preferred).
