Job Description


P/T Position to start: Tuesday - Friday 12pm to 5pm Sat. 10am to 3pm (Off Su & Mo)

We are looking for a Recruiting specialist to manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates.

Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager the Recruiting specialist is responsible for recruiting and providing administrative support and will work in an environment that serves as a partner with the hiring managers, teams, colleagues, and community resources to effectively support the recruitment and retention of BDS Dealer Pros. The recruiter is skilled in sourcing techniques, pre-qualifying, screening, recommending, and seeking candidates who exemplify the BDS core values: We are Positive. We are one Team. The recruiting specialist recruits and hires for a range of positions in the organization. The recruiting specialist is knowledgeable about state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment functions and serves as a knowledgeable ambassador for BDS Dealer Pros.

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Professional integrity and confidentiality
  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video, and in-person)
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally.
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire.
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs


Qualifications


Requirements and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar role
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in relatable field is preferred but not required; prior experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experienced building solid relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other key partners while establishing a credible reputation within the company.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Understanding of referral programs
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgement
