PanCare of Florida is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist for our Mobile Clinic Program. This position would provide dental cleanings and oral hygiene education for patients of all ages within our clinics, our Mobile Clinics in a school setting, and students within Bay District Schools. This is a Full-Time Seasonal position, which would follow the School District’s holiday and summer schedule.

Position Responsibilities:

· Provides dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and periodontal probing as needed

· Instructs patients in preventative dental techniques (oral hygiene instructions)

· May apply topical anesthesia as recommended/required preparation for dental procedures to be performed by the dentist

· Completes and maintains records of patients

· Exposes radiographs at appropriate intervals

· Orders and stocks dental supplies as needed

· Assists with the planning, developing, and conducting of dental health education or preventative programs

· Participates in research projects and needs assessment surveys

· Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Qualifications:

· Experience with Electronic Health Records

· Must have current, valid Florida Hygiene License by Florida Statute 466

· Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification upon hire.
