Job description
The ideal candidate must have:
Ability to obtain and interpret clinical and medical information to expedite processing referrals
Ability to engage with consumers upon intake, to assist with expectations of and acclamation to the unit and milieu
Ability to establish therapeutic rapport during stay to assist in promotion of warm hand-offs to aftercare providers
Ability to articulate clearly and provide psychotherapeutic education, wellness and medication education groups
Ability to assist LCSW/LPC with the development of Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan revisions
Ability to establish rapport and exhibit empathy to obtain pertinent and useful clinical data in the development of Behavioral Health Assessments.
Will also be the back-up admission and discharge processing
Must be a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
This is a 24/7 facility. Shifts typically run 3 -12 hour days with some alternating weekends. This position is for the 8p to 8a shifts.
