Southeastern Spine Institute is now hiring for a full-time Reimbursment Specialist to join our team!

Position Summary: Our company is hiring a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team and help create a flawless reimbursement experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable and a self-starter who is capable of working independently as well as with others and has a strong commitment to 24/7 customer service. The successful candidate will manage complex and detailed requests, work closely with multiple teams, engage with customers and understand the importance of company policy all while satisfying organizational goals and customers' needs.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Works with insurance companies to verify patients eligibility, process patients claims, and ensure payments are recieved properly.

2. Reviews appropriateness of CPT-4/ICD-9 coding and determines if care provided correspondes to the charges submitted.

3. Processes charge ticket reconciliation and end of day balancing.

4. Processes co-pay insurance collection

5. Assists in identifying fraudulent non-plan billing practices and assists the legal department with litigation preparation.

Position Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. 3 Years of related experience

3. Experience in coding ICD-10 and CPT

4. Experience with account ledgers

5. Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid

6. Effective interpersonal skills.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8 Familiar with medical knowledge and terminology

9. Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, team player, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
