Staff Accountant, ANYWHERE IN THE US - 100% Remote Position

We are conducting a search for a Staff Accountant for Skilled Nursing Operator based in Illinois.

Our client is a growing skilled nursing operator who has an established presence in multiple states across the nation.

If you’re currently an accountant in healthcare / skilled nursing or assisted living environment, and are looking for a flexible work schedule and the ability to work where you want, this position will be worth your time to explore.

You’ll be doing the typical things a Staff Accountant does, but you’ where you will:

• Conduct bank reconciliations
• Close A/P
• Perform tasks to establish borrowing bases
• Take care of Journal entries and general ledgers
• Manage accounting/recordkeeping functions
• Perform Cash Management
• And do other fun stuff, like managing accounting and recordkeeping functions, maintaining facility accounts and ledgers, doing bank deposits, preparing financial statements, and conducting data reports as requested by Corporate, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting and Finance, with healthcare accounting experience a bonus!

• Demonstrated ability to perform the primary aspects of the position

• Computer literate: if you know how do amazing things in Excel (required) and have experience in MDI/Matrix, Quickbooks and Peachtree (preferred), that would be ideal.

• We’re looking for a good addition to our team, which means a general ability to work well with others, and an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
