Position/Role:

Our Research Fellows assist the research team, working with department staff to ensure that campaign goals are met in a timely and precise manner. The Research Fellows will assist department staff with vetting, transcribing, media monitoring and assorted other medium and long-term projects.

We are looking for someone with a desire to learn more about research, an attention to detail, who is a responsive, passionate and determined worker with a creative approach to solving problems. The discretion and attention to detail is of the utmost importance. Candidates interested in remote work and part-time work are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Work and communicate effectively with other members of the research team to achieve departmental goals
• Assist with vetting of campaign donors, surrogates, and participants in campaign events
• Conduct media monitoring of campaign and opposition activities with precision and attention to detail on tight deadlines
• Other duties may be assigned

• Precision and discretion when dealing with sensitive materials

• Hours: Max 20 hours per week with a schedule that will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
