Qualifications:

4 year degree in social services, finance, or related field or; high school diploma and ability to pass Department of Human Services mandated training program. Passing all required Illinois Healthcare Workers Background Checks.

Mission:

The Residential Assistant/Client Accounts Manager provides services that assist the residential department and manage resident finances.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage persons served finances, reconcile accounts, weekly budgeting, bill payment, manage Social Security Income collective account;
  • Receives and directs visitors, applicants, and all agency inquiries courteously and efficiently;
  • Maintains office equipment and orders supplies;
  • Maintains, updates, and distributes necessary lists for staff, persons served and outside entities;
  • Answers phones and takes messages;
  • Handles incoming and outgoing mail, directs and authorizes as needed;
  • Reproduces document and forms and assists with filing;
  • Assist persons served in skills of daily living, personal care, social adjustment, homemaking, budgeting, integration and independence;
  • Helps insure a safe environment for all persons served;
  • Maintains neat, thorough, accurate and timely documentation including communication with other staff;
  • Promote the health and well being of the clients we serve; Administers medication under Rule 116;
  • Assists persons served to access transportation;
  • Participates in seminars or other training sessions for the purpose of career growth and development;
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
