RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS ACCEPTING A FULL TIME POSITION ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.

Respiratory Therapist Pay & Perks

• Salary dependent on experience
• Respiratory Therapists will receive 20% shift differential from 7:00p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Taylor Regional Hospital offers a defined benefit retirement plan for any team member working 1,000 or more hours during the calendar year. Team members do not contribute to this plan, it is 100% funded by Taylor Regional Hospital.

Respiratory Therapist Summary

The Respiratory Therapist engages in the treatment and prevention of cardio-pulmonary diseases, utilizing respiratory care equipment and techniques as prescribed by a physician. Duties of the Respiratory Therapist include:

• Setting up various oxygen devices per protocol
• Administering prescribed meds and treatments
• Operating pulse oximeter
• Performing chest physical therapy
• Performing incentive spirometry per protocol
• Obtaining and analyzing arterial blood
• Performing QC, proficiency testing and routine maintenance on blood gas analyzers
• Correctly documenting procedures and oxygen usage to correctly capture charges

Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Full Time positions are 3 night shifts per week (6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). Part time and PRN positions are also available.
• Associate Degree required
• CRT/RRT from NBRC required
• Current KY Respiratory Care license required
• Respiratory therapy experience is preferred, but not required
