Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Location: Smuggler’s at North Shore

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Smuggler’s at North Shore on Hess Lake! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to staffing, beverage preparation and financial management, while maintaining excellent guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and support staff, to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage restaurant financials, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute menus, promotions, and special events to enhance guest experiences and drive sales.
• Implement and maintain high food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring exceptional guest service and addressing any guest concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and coaching team members to achieve their best performance.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to provide feedback and support staff development.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, quality products, and competitive pricing.
• Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Uphold the restaurant's brand image and reputation, ensuring consistency in quality, service, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in the hospitality or foodservice industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with guests, staff, and business partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
