Basic Function

You cannot put a price tag on the fun you will have working on our Retail team. From selling candy and cups to restocking T-shirts and treasures, you will take home the perfect souvenir: a summer full of valuable customer service and priceless experiences.

Specific Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with Guests in store and as they enter your store or approach your register.
• Offer suggestions to help souvenir-seeking Guests find the perfect item.
• Keep work and Guest areas clean, neat, and organized with general cleaning duties (i.e. empty trash, mop, vacuum, sweep, dust, etc.)
• Maintain fully stocked shelves, counters and tables and always display racks with appropriate merchandise.
• Monitor all areas to avoid and/or detect theft to assist in maintaining park assets.
• Wrap or bag merchandise for Guests.
• Work as a team player with other associates, supervisors and managers.
• Receives and retrieves boxed stock into or from the stockroom/understock areas for retail display and sale promotion.
• Re-stock bins, shelves, fixtures, and displays full of the newest and coolest merchandise.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required

• Must be at least 16.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers, receiving money and returning proper change.
• Check in shipments of new merchandise.
• Keep aisles, counter-tops, and displays clean and looking great.
• Be on alert for store security and loss prevention.
• Friendly, outgoing personality inviting Guests to your cart, shop or register.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as fast-paced as our coasters.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to Indiana Beach.
• Positive attitude to make Guests excited about their purchases.
• Have a passion for shopping.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
